Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cups rice
  2. 1 cup urad dal
  3. 1 tbsp methi seeds
  4. 2 tbsp poha
  5. 2 onions
  6. 2 tomatoes
  7. 2 tbsp raisins
  8. Coriander
  9. Salt
  10. Chilly powder
  11. Oil to Drizzle

Instructions

  1. Soak rice & urad dal + methi seeds separately for 4-5 hrs.
  2. Grind rice & dal with methi seeds separately & then mix poha & keep the mixture together overnight to ferment.
  3. At the time of preparing uttapa put salt as per taste in the fermented batter
  4. On a nonstick pan pour the batter and just spread a little dont press it hard.
  5. Put onion, raisins , spread chilly pow & coriander.Drizzle butter on it &cover a lid on it.let it be for 2 mins then flip it and let it be done from the other side.Serve it with coconut chutney .
