Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Rice flour 3 cups
  2. Water warm boiled
  3. Salt as required
  4. Daal soaked overnight 2 cups
  5. Green chillies 8-9
  6. Garlic 6-7
  7. Cumin 3-4 tsp
  8. Asofoetida1 or 2 pinch
  9. Coriander leaves as required

Instructions

  1. Prepare a smooth dough of the rice flour by adding salt and hot water. Do not use cold water it may form lumps.
  2. Grind the daal and all the spices mentioned to a paste. Do not use more of water for grinding the paste. Prepare thick smooth paste.
  3. Now make small tikkis of the flour & place the filling on it & fold the tikki. Add the filling on 1 side of the tikki so that you can easily fold it & the filling also does not come out.
  4. Prepare tikkis with all the dough
  5. Till then take a large deep wok add water & a piece of lemon & keep it for boilng.
  6. When the water is properly boiled place a strainer on the wok. It should not touch water
  7. Now place the filled tikkis on the strainer and cover properly so that the steam does not release.
  8. Boil it till the tikkis are properly cooked through the steam.
  9. Once they are done, place another layer of the tikkis over it and cover it to get cooked again covering it properly.
  10. Place layers according to the depth of the stainer. Then remove them.
  11. Now have it with green mint chutney.
