Ingredients to make A diet breakfast

  • For Dosa
  • moong dal 1cup
  • bajra 1/2 cup
  • Whole wheat 2tbsp
  • curry leaves
  • Red chillies 3
  • Chopped cabbage 1cup
  • oil, just to sprinkle
  • For dal chutney
  • Masoor dal 1/2 cup
  • Red chillies 4
  • coriander seeds 1/4 tsp
  • cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
  • garlic 3 cloves
  • salt
  • mustard a pinch
  • Red Chillies 2
  • curry leaves
  • asafoetida a pinch
  • oil 1/2 tsp
  • salt
  • lemon tea
  • water 3 Cups
  • lemon 1 1/2
  • honey 3 tsp
  • cinnamon sticks 2
  • Green tea bag 3

How to make A diet breakfast

  1. For the dosa Soak moong dal & wheat for 3 hrs. Then grind it to a fine paste,adding enough water & red chillies,curry leaves & salt.
  2. Put cabbage into the blender & blend for 1 or 2 seconds. Pour into a bowl.stir well & make dosas, with very little oil. Roll it as thin as possible,make it crispy,on low fire. Use the batter,soon, don't keep it for longer time.
  3. For dal chutney Dry fry dal well, remove when it is well fried. Then add all the other ingredients & fry well. When cold enough ,grind it into a fine chutney,adding enough water. In a small pan,heat oil, add mustard,red chillies,curry leaves & a pinch of asafoetida. Add this tempering to the chutney.
  4. For the lemon tea : Boil water for 3 min, add cinnamon,simmer for 5,8 min. switch off the flame Filter,& transfer to a bowl.when water is still hot,add honey,tea bag &lemon juice. After 2 min,discard tea bag & mix everything. Drink when it s warm.
