Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Kasuri Methi half cup
  2. Fresh matar 1 cup
  3. Paneer 100 gram
  4. Kaju 2 tablespoon
  5. Melon seeds 2 tablespoon
  6. Poppy seeds half teaspoon
  7. Big onion 1
  8. Salt
  9. One teaspoon of sugar
  10. Oil one teaspoon
  11. Ghee one teaspoon
  12. [Chilli + ginger paste] 2 teaspoon
  13. Garlic 3 cloves
  14. Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
  15. Cloves 3 to 4
  16. Cardamom 2
  17. Cinnamon 1 inch
  18. Kitchen king masala 1 tsp
  19. Turmeric powder 1/8 Tsp
  20. Malai 1/4 th cup
  21. Paneer 100 gm


  1. In a pan take 1/2 cup of water add onion, garlic, cashew nuts [kaju], melon seeds, poppy seeds ,cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper and cloves , boil for 5 minutes. Cool it and grind it into a paste.
  2. Soak the kasuri methi in hot water for 5 minutes.
  3. Boil the fresh green peas in hot water for 2 minutes
  4. Heat some ghee/oil in a pan. Add chilli ginger paste. Add the soaked kasuri methi & cook for 1 minute. Add boiled green peas and above onion paste and 1/8 th tsp of turmeric powder.
  5. saute for few minutes and then add 1 tsp of kitchen king masala followed by salt, sugar and 1/4 th cup of malai [cream] and paneer cubes. Cook for 2 minutes and methi malai matar is ready to be served.
