Ingredients to make Instant noodles momos

  • For Filling
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegetables ( capsicum, carrot, cabbage)
  • 2-3 spoons finely cut onions
  • 1 tspn tomato ketchup
  • 1 tspn soy sauce
  • 1 tspn vinegar
  • salt to taste
  • Instant noodles masala 1

  • 1 tspn oil.
  • water to cook noodles
  • For outer cover
  • 1 cup maida
  • 1 tspn oil
  • salt to taste
  • water to knead the dough

How to make Instant noodles momos

  1. Knead a soft dough using maida, salt. oil and water. Leave it aside to rest for 1 hour, covered.
  2. To make the filling, heat a pan with some oil.
  3. Add the onion and saute till translucent, now put all vegetables [carrot ,capsicum and cabbage]
  4. Fry for 2 min and put water in it , and let this come to a boil. The water must just enough to cook the noodles and not extra otherwise the mixture might become runny.
  5. Now add the instant noodles [maggi] into the boiling water. stir and let this cook.
  6. Put salt .soy sauce, vinegar,and ketchup and mix well. Once the noodles are cooked and the mixture id dry enough, let this slurry cool down.
  7. Arrange the steamer. Divide the dough into equal sized proportions, roll out each portion into a very thin roll, and roll it thinner than a chapati.
  8. Put the 1-2 spoon of mix and shape them like momos
  9. Steam them in hot steamer for 6-7 mins
  10. Serve them hot with red hot spicy momos chutney

My Tip:

Roll out the dough thin . if the mix looks runny adjust by mixing corn flour . You can use paneer also to make it tastier.
