Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Loaf :
  2. Flour 300 gms
  3. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  4. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar 150 gms
  6. Vinegar 1/2 tsp
  7. salt 1/4 tsp
  8. Vanilla extract 1 tsp
  9. Buttermilk 150 ml
  10. Cocoa powder 2 tsp
  11. Canola oil or melted butter 100 gms
  12. Egg 1
  13. Red colour 1 tbsp
  14. For frosting :
  15. Cream cheese 3 tbsp
  16. Heavy cream 1 tbsp
  17. Butter 2 tbsp room temperature
  18. Sugar 100 gms
  19. Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Sift flour , baking powder , baking soda and sugar and cocoa powder
  2. Mix and keep aside
  3. In a blender add oil and butter milk
  4. Blend in medium speed for 2 mins
  5. Add egg and red colour
  6. Again blend for 2 mins
  7. Add flour mixture , blend in medium speed
  8. Mix again with spatula again slowly
  9. Lightly grease and dust a nonstick baking pan
  10. Pour batter
  11. Preheat oven for 10 mins
  12. Bake at 180 degrees centigrade for 40 _45 mins
  13. Let the cake cool down completely
  14. Now make the frosting
  15. Mix butter , cream cheese , heavy cream using blender
  16. Add sugar , blend until soft and creamy
  17. Apply frosting on cake when it is cooled down completely
  18. Keep in the freezer for some time
  19. Cut and serve
