Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For Buns;
  2. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  3. 1/2 cup Ragi Flour (Finger Millet)
  4. 1/2 cup Oat flour
  5. 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds (Til seeds)
  6. 3/4 cup luke warm milk
  7. 1 teaspoon honey
  8. 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  9. Salt , to taste
  10. 2 tablespoon white butter
  11. 1 tsp sugar
  12. 2 tbsp milk pwd
  13. Ingredients for the Patty
  14. 2 sweet potato big size
  15. 1 fresh plum chopped
  16. 1 onion chopped
  17. 8-10 leaves spinach chopped
  18. 1/2 cup cabbage chopped
  19. 1/4 cup soaked sago ( sabudana
  20. 1 carrot chopped
  21. 1 sprig of green garlic
  22. 4 tbsp bread crumbs
  23. 3-4 lettuce leaves
  24. 4 cheese slices
  25. 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  26. 3 tbsp mozzarella cheese
  27. Salt , pepper and chilly to taste


  1. In a bowl take 3/4 cup of warm milk, add in the sugar and yeast to the water and stir well. Keep aside for 10 mins to frothy.
  2. In a large bowl; add in the whole wheat flour, the oat flour, sesame seeds, and some salt to taste. Mix all the dry ingredients together
  3. Next slowly add in the yeast water, melted butter and the honey and knead until all the flour is combined.
  4. Coat the dough with a tablespoon of olive oil. Cover the dough and let it rest in a warm place until doubled in size, about 2 hours.
  5. we will first preheat the oven to 180°C. Make sure the oven is preheated for at least 10 minutes.
  6. Now bake these buns at 180° in preheated oven for 10-15 min. Take them out and cover with kitchen towel, let it cool.
  7. For patty; Take every ingredients of patty in a bowl mix well, make the patties out of it and shallow fry in a pan till golden brown colour.
  8. Cut the buns into half and roast in hot pan with butter, apply some mayonnaise, cheese slice, cucumber, onion, lettuce and finally the patty. Serve this healthy burger to your loved ones.
