This can be made in good quantity and stored.if properly dried stays fresh for years.perfect company of hot cup of tea in the rainy season

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. One cup cooked rice
  2. A tsp of salt
  3. A pinch of asafoetida
  4. A tbsp of white sesame seeds
  5. A tbsp of kalonji
  6. A tbsp of cumin seeds
  7. 2 -3 green chillies finely cut


  1. First in a bowl take 2 cups of water and add the cooked rice to it
  2. Let it sit for 3-4 hours during
  3. After that strain the rice and by adding little water blend it to a paste
  4. Add all other ingredients and mix well
  5. In a clean dry polythene sheet drop them in small ball size and let in dry under the sun for 2-3 days
  6. Once they are completely dried can be easily peeled off from the sheet.
  7. Whenever required deep fry them and enjoy hot and crispy fryums.

Amazing fryums recipe! I find them so much better tasting than regular chips... best part is you can control the amount of salt....chips are so salty!
