Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 3-4 cup arhar dal
  2. 5-6 green chilli
  3. 2-3 chopped medium size onion
  4. 1 tsp Ginger paste
  5. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tsp ajwain
  8. Salt per as taste
  9. Oil for frying


  1. Wash and soak the dal for 4-5 hours.
  2. After that wash the soak dal and grind it in blender with water, add few water at a time and make thick paste.
  3. Now, in a big bowl put the dal add all the ingredients and mix it well.
  4. Heat oil in kadhai/wok take a paste in hand and pour into kadhai fry till it gets light brown.
  5. Serve hot with chutney or tea
