Ingredients to make Fish kali mirch

  • Mangur or rohu fish half kg
  • onion one large
  • garlic 3-4 cloves
  • Black pepper powder 2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • mustard Oil 2 tbsp
  • Green coriander leaves for garnishing

How to make Fish kali mirch

  1. Wash fish thoroughly.
  2. In a wok heat mustard oil till it begins to smoke. Lower the flame, add chopped onion and saute till translucent. Add chopped garlic and saute for another minute. Drain and let it cool and then grind it to a smooth paste.
  3. Add it to the same wok and add salt and pepper powder and fry till oil leaves the sides.
  4. Add fish pieces and fry gently on low flame till done.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati
