Ingredients to make Baked Whole Chicken Legs

  • chicken Legs Whole - 4
  • ginger Garlic Paste - 2 Tbsp
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • lemon juice - 2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • curd - 3 tsp
  • Kashmiri chilly powder - 2 tsp
  • chilly flakes - 1 tsp
  • coriander powder - ½ tsp
  • mango powder - 2 tsp
  • Black salt - 1 tsp
  • Black peppercorns - 2 tsp cracked
  • oil - 3-4 tsp

How to make Baked Whole Chicken Legs

  1. Take the washed chicken leg and pat dry with kitchen towel.
  2. Make slashes on it with a knife. Add the chicken to a bowl. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder. Lemon juice, salt and rub them nicely over the chicken. Let it stand for 10-15 min.
  3. Next add all the remaining ingredients, mix nicely and rub the chicken well with the marinate ingredients. Let it marinate. The longer the better.
  4. Take the marinated chicken Leg. Mix well again. In a baking try lay the chicken legs in single layer.
  5. Preheat oven to 180° for 5-10 min and bake for 30 mins. Turn sides every 5-10 mins.
  6. Increase the temperature to 200° and bake for 10 mins more, 5 mins on each side.
  7. I served with onion salad and lemon rings.
