Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Full chicken legs 2
  2. Curd 200 grms
  3. Onions 1 medium
  4. Tomatoes 2 medium
  5. Ginger 1 inch pc
  6. Garlic 5 to 6 pcs
  7. green chillies 4 to 5
  8. Coriander leaves a small bunch
  9. Mint Leaves a few
  10. 1 tsp garam masala
  11. 1 tsp sugar
  12. 1/2 Lemon juice
  13. Oil/Pure ghee/butter for frying
  14. Garnish
  15. Onion rings
  16. coriander leaves chopped
  17. Orange colour 1/2 tsp
  18. Salt to taste


  1. Take the chicken legs and make cuts on it.Prick the flesh with fork to make holes so the marinate penetrates deep inside
  2. Apply lemon juice salt and Orange colour and marinate for 1 hr
  3. Grind the curd,onion,Tomatoes,green chillies,coriander leaves,mint leaves, ginger &garlic
  4. Add sugar to the marinade
  5. Marinate the legs in the curd mixture for 3 hrs.Keep turning the legs every hour.Rub with your hands
  6. Take a kadai and add ghee
  7. Put the chicken legs and fry it on high
  8. Then lower the flame and cook the legs till done
  9. If the gravy is left,dry the whole gravy
  10. Use a skillet or grill pan and roast the chicken
  11. Serve hot garnished with lemon wedges, onion cucumber raita
  12. I have served with Pita bread ,French fries and cucumber & onion raita
