Makki ki roti

Ingredients to make Makki ki roti

  • Making ka atta(corn meal)generally available in winter 1cup
  • Grated radish 2tbsp
  • salt 1tsp
  • red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • Carrom seeds 1/4tsp
  • Warm waters 1/2cup
  • clarified butter 4tbsp

How to make Makki ki roti

  1. Sieve atta and salt
  2. Add radish chilli powder and carrom seeds knead a soft dough and keep it aside for 5minutes
  3. Keep a thin cloth on a flat surface
  4. Meanwhile heat tava or pan
  5. Take 1/4 of the mix make a ball and tap between your wet palms
  6. Transfer to the cloth and tap with your wet fingers to shape it In a chapati
  7. Lift the cloth and transfer it to pan cook it golden from both sides
  8. Serve with white butter and lassi

My Tip:

You can add methi leaves instead of radish if you like
