Ingredients to make Gujrati thepla

  • Whole wheat flour 1cup
  • Fresh Malai,oil,curd all 1 tbsp each
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli powder 1/2tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/4tsp
  • Corriander powder 1tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2tsp
  • Kasoori methi 1tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder 1tsp
  • olive oil /ghee to shallow frying

How to make Gujrati thepla

  1. Mix all the above listed ingredients and knead a soft dough using required amount of water
  2. Rest the dough for 5 minutes
  3. Make very thin chapatis (this dough makes around 10-12)
  4. Shallow fry them using little oil on high flame
  5. Serve with your choice of pickle

My Tip:

You can have left over chapatis later on also microwave them for 30 seconds it tastes yumm
