Ingredients to make Methi missi roti

  • Whole wheat flour 1 cups
  • gram flour 1/2 cup
  • Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
  • haldi powder 1/2 tsp
  • chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Kasuri methi( dried methi leaves) 3 tbsp (
  • oil 2 tsp (for kneading) + some more for frying roti
  • salt a pinch
  • water 1/2 to 3/4 cup

How to make Methi missi roti

  1. Mix the flour and all spice powders.
  2. Add kasuri methi
  3. Add oil and mix
  4. Now let the dough rest for 30 mins
  5. Now make equal size balls from the dough.
  6. Dust the work surface lightly with flour and roll with a rolling pin.
  7. Place the roti on a hot tawa and cook on one side
  8. Apply some ghee/oil and serve hot with curd or pickle.

My Tip:

Instead of dried methi leaves you can also use fresh methi leaves.amchoor powder can alsi be added for a little tangy taste
