Pista Rabdi

Ingredients to make Pista Rabdi

  • 1 liter whole milk
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp pista powder
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 3-4 drops Vanilla essence
  • For garnishing - pista slices & saffron threads

How to make Pista Rabdi

  1. Boil the milk in nonstick sauce pan and boil on slow flame.
  2. Meanwhile, make a fine paste from green peas then add this pea paste in boiling milk. stir continuously till it thickens.
  3. Add sugar and some threads of saffron. Turn off the heat when thick. Cool down to room temperature.
  4. Now add pista powder, vanilla, mix well and keep in the refrigerator for minimum 1 hour.
  5. At the time of serving garnish with pista slices & saffron threads
