ABOUT Lauki Shots RECIPE

This dessert is for all the mothers of fusseaters. Lauki can be lipsmackingly good. Presenting Indian desert Rabri with a twist-- lauki rabri

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lauki (grated) 200gms
  2. Milk 1 liter
  3. Sugar 5 tbsp
  4. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  5. Pistachios (to garnish)
  6. Green food colour 2-3 drops

Instructions

  1. Take a heavy bottom pan.
  2. Add millk and give it a boil.
  3. Add grated lauki, sugar and cardamom powder to milk.
  4. Cook on medium heat
  5. Let it cook for one hour.
  6. Keep stirring in between and scrap the sides of pan.
  7. When it reaches the consistency of rabri, switch off the gas.
  8. Add food colour.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Cool it and garnish with pistachios.
