Ingredients to make Potato Bhaji in pressure cooker

  • potato -1/2 kilo
  • onions-3 (chopped)
  • ginger-1 inch piece
  • garlic-8 cloves
  • green chillies-8 ( slit)
  • turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon
  • mustard seeds-1/4 teaspoon
  • Urud dhal-1 teaspoon
  • Bengal gram dhal-1 teaspoon
  • oil-1 teaspoon
  • salt to taste
  • curry leaves and coriander leaves few

How to make Potato Bhaji in pressure cooker

  1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker add mustard seeds, urad dhal, bengal gram dhal saute for few seconds then add onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies fry for a minute.
  2. Now add the peeled and roughly cubed potatoes , turmeric powder and salt.
  3. Add water just enough to cover the potatoes
  4. Cook for 3 whistles. Immediately remove from fire and release the pressure carefully. Slightly mash the potatoes. Check for salt. Garnish and serve hot.
