Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Mutton - 1/2 kg
  2. For Marinade : 1 tsp - Raw papaya paste
  3. Amul curd - 1 Cup
  4. Lemon juice - 1 tsp
  5. Salt - 1/2 tsp
  6. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  7. Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
  8. For Gravy : Onion, chopped - 1
  9. Ginger garlic paste- 2 tbs
  10. Onion, large - 2
  11. Green chilly - 2 cut in half
  12. Coriander Powder - 2 tbs
  13. Chilly Powder - 1 tsp
  14. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  15. salt as per taste
  16. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  17. For Tempering : Tej Patta - 2
  18. Badi Elaichi - 2
  19. Clove - 4
  20. Black Pepper - 6
  21. Dalchini - 1/2 inch
  22. Mustard Oil - 1/4 cup
  23. For Garnish : Chopped coriander 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Marinate the washed and dry mutton with ingredients written under marinade. Leave it for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat mustard oil in a pressure cooker. Temper the whole spices written under tempering. Add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes on medium flame.
  3. Add all things written under 'Gravy' in a mixer and grind it with 2 tablespoon water. Add this masala to pressure cooker along with marinated mutton. Put it on a high flame for 5 to 6 whistle or till the mutton is done.
  4. Garnish with green coriander and serve with love.
