A mild spicy chinese sidedish ,goes well with all types of rotis & parathas.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Chicken pieces 400g.
  2. To marinate chicken,
  4. Maida 1tbsp
  5. Egg 1
  6. Garlic paste 2 tsp
  7. Pepper powder 2 tsp
  8. Chinese seasoning 1tbsp
  9. Light soy sauce 2 tbsp
  10. Sechwan sauce 2tbsp
  11. For the Gravy
  12. Onion 2,cut into big pieces
  13. Capsicum 1,chopped
  14. Spring onion,2tbsp,chopped
  15. Celery 2 tbsp,chopped
  16. Black pepper sauce 3 tbsp
  17. Crushed pepper 2 tbs
  18. Oil for deep frying.


  1. The ingredients given for marinating.
  2. Marinate chicken pieces & refrigerate for 2 hrs.
  3. Heat oil,in a pan,deep fry chicken pieces.
  4. When done keep aside.
  5. In another pan put some of the fried oil. Then add garlic & onion. Fry for a few minutes.
  6. Then add all the ingredients .capsicum.celery.& spring onion. Fry well.
  7. Then add black pepper sauce & rice wine vinegar..Stir well.
  8. In another kadai heat 1 tbsp of oil.put crushed pepper.fry well.
  9. Add to the gravy along with some water.
  10. When it boils, add fried chicken pieces. Fry well. If u want dry.let it cook for some more time. Or if , with semi gravy, remove when all pieces r well coated with sauces .
  11. Serve hot with any roti.
