ABOUT Mixed Vegetable RECIPE

A main course dish which can be prepared by all the seasonal vegetables. The main ingredients are pea, cauliflower and tomato.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Peas - 2 cups
  2. Cauliflower - 1 big sized
  3. Tomato - 2 medium
  4. Onions - 2 medium
  5. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tspn
  6. Bay leaf - 1
  7. Red Chillies - 2
  8. Green chillies - 1
  9. Green cardamon - 2
  10. Lwang - 2
  11. Dalchini - 1
  12. Haldi - 1 tspn
  13. Chilli powder - 1/2 tspn
  14. Dhania powder - 1/2 tspn
  15. Black pepper - 1/2 tspn
  16. Garam Masala - 1/2 tspn
  17. Salt - as per taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil, add cumin, elaichi, lang, dalchini, red chillies, green chilli, bay leaf.
  2. Add chopped onions and cook till it turns brown.
  3. By the time, it is getting cooked, grate the cauliflower.
  4. Now, add the peas and cook for 1 min.
  5. Add salt and stir so that the peas gets cooked.
  6. Add one by one the spices, chilli powder.
  7. Add dhaniya powder, black pepper powder.
  8. Add garam masala, mix and cook.
  9. Add ginger garlic paste.
  10. When all the masala is cooked, add grated cauliflower.
  11. After cooking for 2 min, add the tomato puree.
  12. Mix and cook for 5 min. Then add water and cook for 10 min.
  13. Let the water evaporate and the sabji is ready. Serve with fresh cream or dhaniya .
