Banana Palak Curry

Ingredients to make Banana Palak Curry

  • Boiled banana pieces 1 cup
  • palak puree 1 cup
  • Chopped onions 1/4 Cup
  • Grated coconut 3 teaspoons
  • tomato juice 1 teaspoon
  • jeera powder 1 teaspoon
  • coriander powder 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder 1 teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • red chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • ginger garlic paste 2 teaspoons
  • oil 3 teaspoons

How to make Banana Palak Curry

  1. Take a pan, put some oil and fry the ginger garlic paste. Add onions, tomato juice and fry them till golden brown in colour.
  2. Add the palak puree, fry it until the raw smell disappears.
  3. Add jeera powder, coriander powder, salt, red chilli powder and mix them all well.
  4. Add boiled banana pieces and close the pan lid for two minutes. When the bubbles appear and release oil, then it is ready to be served.
  5. Garish with grated coconut.

My Tip:

Half boil the banana pieces.
