Ingredients to make Stuffed farali banana curry

  • 3 cups banana , cubed
  • 2 tablespoons crushed peanut
  • 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • curry leaves , finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Cooking oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Stuffed farali banana curry

  1. To begin making the Paka Kela Nu Shaak; In a large bowl combine the asafoetida, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, crushed peanut and set aside. Ready masala
  2. split the bananas into four parts
  3. Fill the split bananas with half of the masala
  4. Heat oil in a pan on medium high; add the cumin seeds and curry leaves and allow it to crackle
  5. Stir in the banana mixture into the above seasoning and stir gently and condiments gets well coated around the banana, for about 3 to 4 minutes. Turn off heat and transfer to a serving dish.
  6. Serve the Paka Kela Ki Sabzi along with a Gujarati meal of Phulka’s, Gujarati Dal

My Tip:

The Paka Kela Ki Sabzi has to be prepared just a few minutes before you are ready to serve your meal.
