Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice 2 cups
  2. Soya chunks 1/2 cup soaked in water
  3. Green Peas 1 cup
  4. Carrot 4 diced
  5. Potatoes 2 diced
  6. Jeera 1 teaspoon
  7. Carom seeds 1 teaspoon
  8. Cloves 5
  9. Cinnamon 2 pieces
  10. Green cardamom 4
  11. Garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  12. Ginger sliced 2 inch piece
  13. Onion 1 sliced thinly
  14. Green chillies 2
  15. Tomatoes 2 chopped
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Oil 3 table spoons
  18. For Garnishing:
  19. Coriander and mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Add oil into a kadahi, and add jeera, carom seeds, cloves, and green cardamon and cinnamon.
  2. After that add sliced onions, ginger and garlic, chopped tomato and green chillies.
  3. When oil separates from masala add chopped vegetables and squeezed​ soya chunks.
  4. After this add rice and fry for 5 mintues. Add 4 cups of water.
  5. Close the lid and check time to time. When it's done. Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
  6. Serve with cucumber raita.
