Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For wada
  2. Urad dal (dhuli)- 200gm
  3. Moong dal (dhuli)- 50gm
  4. Ginger- 2 inch
  5. Green chilli- 5
  6. Jeera/cumin seed- 1 tsp
  7. Hing/asafoetida- a pinch
  8. Salt- according to taste
  9. oil- for frying
  10. Yoghurt mix
  11. Yoghurt/Dahi- 500gm
  12. Suger- 2 tbsp
  13. Black salt- 1 tsp
  14. green chutney
  15. Mint/ pudina- 100gm
  16. Coriander/dhaniya- 100gm
  17. Ginger- abt 2 inch
  18. Garlic- 8 to 10 cloves
  19. Green chilli- 8
  20. Jeera/cumin seed- 1 tsp
  21. Black salt- abt 1.5 tsp or according to taste
  22. Mango powder- 2 tsp
  23. Tamarind chutney
  24. Tamarind/imli pulp- 200gm
  25. Jeggery/gur- 250gm
  26. red chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
  27. Ginger powder- 1 tsp
  28. Cumin Powder- 1 tsp
  29. Black papper- 1/2 tsp
  30. Pomegranate powder- 1/2 tsp
  31. Salt- 1 tsp
  32. Black salt- 1/2 tsp
  33. TOPPINGS
  34. Masala boondi- 100gm
  35. Roasted Cumin powder- 1 tbsp
  36. Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
  37. Salt- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak both the dals together for at least 5-6 hours or overnight
  2. Grind urad dal, moong dal, green chillies, ginger, hing together into a coarse paste
  3. Take out paste in a large bowl, add salt and cumin into a paste
  4. Beat the mixture for good 5 mins by hand
  5. Take out lemon sized ball and fry in the oil
  6. Take out on kitchen towel
  7. Beat the curd with salt and sugar into thick consistency
  8. Arrange the wada in flat dish and pour curd over it
  9. Let it sit for 30 mins so that wada get soaked in curd
  10. Arrange 4-5 wadas in a serving dish, add curd and both the chutney over it
  11. Sprinkle salt, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder over it
  12. Finally add Boondi and garnish with coriander
