My take on orange kheer with sticky rice flour, orange segments and chopped nuts adding a beautiful flavour from the sticky rice flour. It is easy quick and very delicious and healthy as well.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Milk - 2 cups
  2. Orange segments of 2 oranges
  3. Sugar - ¼ cup
  4. Sticky Rice flour - 3 tbsp
  5. Cardamon - 2 crushed
  6. Nuts - 3 tbsp (almond, chashew and pistachios)


  1. Heat milk in a pan
  2. Stir frequently and boil for 10 mins.
  3. Add sugar and Cardamon
  4. Stir and let sugar melt
  5. Add sticky rice flour mixed in little water and stir frequently so no lumps are formed and let it thicken which will take about 3-5 mins on low-medium heat.
  6. The milk is thicken now, switch off the heat and let it cool down completely.
  7. Add the orange and some chopped nuts and mix them well.
  8. Pour them in serving dish, garnish with some orange and chopped nuts and serve.
  9. Final dish.
