Daliya chikki

Ingredients to make Daliya chikki

  • Daliya 1/2 cup
  • Crushed jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Dry fruits 2 tbspn
  • honey 1 tspn
  • sesame seeds 1 tbspn
  • ghee 2 tbspn

How to make Daliya chikki

  1. First take a wok and add 1 tbsp ghee in it
  2. Now add Jaggery and honey in it
  3. Soon jaggery will convert into slurry
  4. Now add dry fruits, Daliya and sesame seeds
  5. Grease a plate with ghee and spread the mixture on it
  6. Quickly give shape to your chikki and garnish it
  7. Serve it hot or cold
  8. Healthy daliya chikki is ready to enjoy

My Tip:

Daliya can also be dry roasted separately before making chikki. Give different shapes to the chikki to attract kids.
