ABOUT Daliya chikki RECIPE

Daliya is already a complete food. But I have added dry fruits, jaggery, sesame seeds to make it healthier.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Daliya 1/2 cup
  2. Crushed jaggery 1/2 cup
  3. Dry fruits 2 tbspn
  4. Honey 1 tspn
  5. Sesame seeds 1 tbspn
  6. ghee 2 tbspn


  1. First take a wok and add 1 tbsp ghee in it
  2. Now add Jaggery and honey in it
  3. Soon jaggery will convert into slurry
  4. Now add dry fruits, Daliya and sesame seeds
  5. Grease a plate with ghee and spread the mixture on it
  6. Quickly give shape to your chikki and garnish it
  7. Serve it hot or cold
  8. Healthy daliya chikki is ready to enjoy

Dalia should not be boiled before making chikki
