ABOUT Spicy Paneer Gujiya RECIPE

Gujiya is normally served as a sweet but in many cities people served as a savoury dish or starter and as a snacks too by filling of some variation of spices and namkin. I prepared this savoury gujiya with stuffed paneer, corn, onion, capsicum with chease touch.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Puri sheets 8 (regular puri )
  2. paneer chopped 1 cup
  3. onions chopped 2 tbs
  4. capsicum chopped 2 tbs
  5. ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  6. Boiled sweet corn 1 cup
  7. Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbs
  8. Paprika 1 tsp
  9. Oragano 1/2 tsp
  10. salt to taste
  11. Red chilli sauce 2 tbs
  12. Green chilli sauce 2 tbs
  13. Soya sauce 1 tsp
  14. Sweet chilli sauce 2 tbs
  15. Grated cheese 1 cup


  1. Take puri sheets for spicy gujiya.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and add all sauces and spices in it and mix it for stuffing.
  3. Now hold the puri in your finger and palm then apply little water to the edges of puri.
  4. Now fill enough stuffing in it and stick the both sides with your first finger and thumb.
  5. Now make design with cutting and folding.
  6. Now slowly slowly complete the design.
  7. Now make all gujiya's this way.
  8. Now keep ready all the gujiya's for deep frying.
  9. Now heat the oil on medium flame and add 2 gujiya in kadai one by one.
  10. Deep fry the gujiya till it turns golden brown and crispy.
  11. Now your spicy paneer gujiya is ready to serve with tamarind, coriander chatni, ketchup or mayonnaise.
