ABOUT Corn and Paneer Paties RECIPE

The crisp corn paties make a great tea time snack during monsoons.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Corn - 1 cup
  2. Paneer : grated minuted - 1 cup
  3. Green peas : 1 cup
  4. Green chillies - 3 sliced
  5. Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoons
  6. Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch
  7. Ginger minute sliced - 1/2 cup
  8. Garlic Minute sliced - 1/2 cup
  9. Rice flour 1-2 tablespoons
  10. Garam masala - 1 pinch
  11. Salt as per the taste
  12. Ghee : 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Remove the corn seeds.
  2. Take the mixie jar add corn, green peas, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds and blend it into a paste.
  3. Add salt, garam masala and rice flour and mix thoroughly to make the round patti using hands.
  4. Heat the pan and place the paties and add ghee and cook it on both sides.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and place the corn fritters and deep fry until golden brown in colour.
  6. Now serve the hot paties and pakoda with tomato or chilly sauce.
