Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. 4 cups - besan
  2. 1 1/2 cup - ghee
  3. 1/4 cup- warm milk
  4. 2 1/2 cup - ground sugar
  5. 2 tsp - cardamom powder
  6. Chopped dry fruits
  7. raisins for garnishing


  1. Heat a large heavy bottomed vessel and add ghee.
  2. When the ghee is hot, add besan and start to roast in on a slow flame with the help of a spatula.
  3. Roast the besan on a low flame continuously until you get a nice aroma and it gets a little dark golden in color. It will take around 20-25 minutes.
  4. Switch off the flame and sprinkle warm milk over the besan. Once it cools a little, then add ground sugar to it.
  5. Grind this mixture in a grinder/mixer well.
  6. Take the ground besan-sugar mixture in a large plate. Then add cardamom powder, dry fruits and raisins.
  7. Mix well with you hand, then make medium sized ladoos out of it.
