Kothimbir Badi

Ingredients to make Kothimbir Badi

  • besan 2&1/2 cup
  • coriander leaves chopped 1&1/2 cup
  • Bathua saag leaves chopped 1 cup
  • turmeric powder 1tsp
  • Dhania/coriander powder 2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • oil for shallow frying
  • ginger,garlic&green chilli paste 2 tbsp
  • jeera 1/2tsp
  • oil 1tbsp( for dough)

How to make Kothimbir Badi

  1. Take besan,bathua saag, coriander leaves.
  2. Add all masala powders, jeera, ginger garlic paste, oil and make a dough.
  3. Make 4 thick rolls of it.
  4. Steam these rolls.
  5. Cool it and cut in small rounds.
  6. Shallow fry or deep fry the cut pieces.
  7. Serve with green or red chutney .

My Tip:

Dough should be not very soft or not very hard.
