ABOUT KOTHIMBIR VADI RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Gram flour 1 katori
  2. Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
  3. Rice flour 1 tbsp
  4. Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  5. Carron seeds 1 tbsp
  6. Garam masala 1 tbsp
  7. Curry leaves 8 to10
  8. Coriander leaves 1 tbsp chopped
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Onion 1 chopped
  11. Oil 2 tbsp
  12. Oil for fry
  13. Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
  14. Green chilli 2 chopped
  15. Asafoetida 1/2 tbsp
  16. Garlic 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Add besan and rice flour in a bowl.
  2. Add water, mix it and make a dosa consistency. Keep it aside
  3. In a pan add cumin seeds, carrom seeds, mustard seed, Curry leaves and onion and stir it.
  4. After a minute add onion and saute for a minute.
  5. Add turmeric and coriander leaves and mix well.
  6. Add gram flour mixture and keep stirring till it combined well for 5 minutes.
  7. Put this mixture in greesed tin and spread evenly.
  8. Cool down the mixture fir around 20 minutes and unmould it.
  9. Cut them into one inches cube.
  10. Deep fry it till golden brown on both sides.
  11. Served with imli chutney or Coriander mint chutey.
