ABOUT Beetroot Vada RECIPE

A quick recipe filled with the goodness of beetroots.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chana dal (soaked) - 1 cup
  2. Beetroot (grated) - 1 cup
  3. Onion (chopped) - 1
  4. Green chillies (chopped) - 2
  5. Ginger (chopped) - 1 tsp
  6. fennel seeds - 1 tsp
  7. Rice Flour - 3 tbsp
  8. Salt
  9. Curry leaves (6-7)
  10. Refined oil - For frying

Instructions

  1. 1. Coarsely grind the Chana dal, with ginger and very little water.
  2. 2. Now mix everything together with the ground chana Dal.
  3. 3. Heat ample amount of oil and make small patties or vadas out of the batter and deep fry them.
  4. 4. Serve.
