This vada is used as a prasadam for Lord Venkateswara during the tamil month Puratasi especially made on saturdays.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Apple -1 chopped
  2. Banana -1 chopped after removing the skin
  3. Gauva-1 chopped
  4. Chickoo(sapota)-1 chopped
  5. For vada batter
  6. Urud dhal-1 cup soaked
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil for frying


  1. Wash and soak the urud dhal for half an hour.
  2. Grind to a fine paste that is to vada batter consistency ,add salt and set aside.
  3. Now blend all the fruits in the blender using whip button. set aside
  4. Mix the fruit paste to the vada batter well.
  5. Heat oil for deep frying in a kedai .Make small vadas and gently slide them into the hot oil.
  6. Fry till golden brown colour.
  7. Serve hot.
