Ingredients to make Fried Chicken With Salad

  • chicken Legs and Wings - 300 gms
  • egg white of 1 egg
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp 
  • curd - 2 tsp
  • Roasted coriander powder - 1 tsp 
  • Roasted cumin powder - ½ tsp 
  • Garam masala powder - ½ tsp 
  • pepper powder - 1 tsp 
  • Kashmiri red chilly powder - 1 tbsp 
  • turmeric powder - ½ tsp 
  • salt to taste 
  • oil - ½ cup
  • For Salad : Purple cabbage - ½ cup sliced
  • Beetroot - half of medium thinly sliced 
  • Green/Red chillies - 2-3 chopped 
  • vinegar - 1 tbsp 
  • salt to taste 

How to make Fried Chicken With Salad

  1. In a bowl soak the cabbage, beetroot, salt to taste and keep aside for sometime while you fry the chicken. After sometime remove the salad from water. Add salt, Vinegar, chillies and mix well and keep aside. 
  2. Cut the chicken leg into 2 pieces and make some slashes in it. Add the chicken legs and the wings in a mixing bowl. 
  3. Add all the ingredients except the oil and mix them thoroughly. You can keep it marinated for some or can go ahead if time constraint. 
  4. Heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, reduce the heat and add the chicken.
  5. Fry them on low-medium heat till golden and crisp approx 10-12 mins. 
  6. Serve the fried chicken with cabbage beetroot salad.
