ABOUT Traditional Gujarati Mango Pickle RECIPE

This is a traditional and easy pickle recipe from Gujarat. It stays good for an year in the fridge.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 3 kg - Raw mangoes, roughly chopped
  2. 3 Cups - Pickle masala, ready made or homemade
  3. 4 Cups - Oil, smoked and cooled at room temperature


  1. In a large mixing bowl add mangoes and pickles masala and mix it well using your palms.
  2. Now take the glass jars and add this pickled mangoes mixture.
  3. In another sauce pan, take oil and bring it to boil and switch off the gas. Allow the oil to cool at room temperature.
  4. Once the oil is cooled, pour it into glass jars and mix it well with the mangoes.
  5. For one day place them anywhere in your kitchen and next day put them into refrigerator for daily use.
