Raw mango launji is very digestive sweet and sour pickle in summers we can make it and store for 15 days and enjoy with roti or paranthas

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw mangoes -500gm
  2. Mustard oil. -2Tbsp
  3. Mustard seeds- 1tsp
  4. Asafetida. -1tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Turmeric powder -1tsp
  7. Fennel seeds or powder - 1tsp
  8. Garam masala-1tsp
  9. Red chilli powder. -1/2 tsp
  10. Jaggery. -100gm


  1. Discard seeds from raw mangoes
  2. Heat mustard oil
  3. Add mustard seeds till crackle.
  4. Add asafetida
  5. Add raw mango pieces .
  6. Add salt ,turmeric powder red chilli powder ,add fennelpowder.
  7. Stir it well
  8. Add 2cups of water and keep on low flame till mangoes gets tender coverwith lid for minutes
  9. Finally add jaggery and cook for few minutes adjust water according to your taste ihv added 2 cups of water add garammasala
  10. Your digestive sweet and sour fingerlicking raw Mango launji is ready it can be stored 15 days in fridge
