Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Makhana / Fox Nut - 2 Cup
  2. Paneer - 150 gm
  3. salt as per taste
  4. Chopped green chili - 1 tbsp
  5. Chopped coriander - 2 tbsp
  6. Red chili powder - 2 tsp
  7. Dry mango powder - 1 tsp
  8. Cornflour - 2 tbsp
  9. Sesame seeds - 4 tbsp
  10. Bread crumbs - 2 tbsp
  11. Almond powder - 1 tbsp
  12. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. Roasted cumin powder - 1 tsp
  14. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Soak the makhana in warm water for 5 minutes, meanwhile grate the paneer.
  2. Squeeze the excess water from soaked makhana, take a large mixing bowl and add makhana, paneer, roasted cumin powder, salt, red chili, green chili, coriander, dry mango powder, cornflour, bread crumbs, garam masala, almond powder and mix well.
  3. Spread the sesame seeds in a plate, cover the tikkies with sesame seeds then shallow fry till golden. serve hot with green chutney .
