ABOUT Butter Murukku RECIPE

Love this murukku for its soft & melt in mouth.First i tried with my own ratio it becomes brown colour,later i realized about flour ratio.after many trials i got that white colour.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rice flour - 1 cup
  2. Roasted gram dal flour / Pottukadalai maavu - 2 tbspn
  3. Gram flour / Kadalai Maavu / Besan - 2 tbspn
  4. Melted butter - 1 tbspn (At Room Temperature)
  5. Jeera / Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
  6. Hing / Asafoetida - 1/4 tspn
  7. Salt - 1/2 tspn
  8. Oil -to deep fry

Instructions

  1. In a wide bowl Mix the given ingredients except oil.
  2. Then slowly add the water to make smooth dough.
  3. Here i used single star plate to make the murukku.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai and squeeze the murukku in press.
  5. Stir in between and cook it on both sides.
  6. Cook until the bubbles sound ceases.
  7. Drain it in a paper towel & completely cool down before store it in a airtight container.

in this recipe it said take roasted gram dal flour and in 3 lines of ingredient its said take besan so its confusion that gram dal and besan is the same I think so plzz help me out
