Ingredients to make Mango semolina cake

  • 1 cup semolina (sooji)
  • 120 gm powdered sugar
  • 1 cup puree mango
  • 3to 4 TBS oil/ghee/ olive oil (option)
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • melon seeds and chocolate chip optional

How to make Mango semolina cake

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients such as sooji.sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
  2. In a blender blend the mango pieces.
  3. Now add all the ingredients such as mango puree and oil into the semolina mixture.
  4. Grease the baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
  5. Pour the cake batter into it and sprinkle with some melon seed and chocolate chip.
  6. Now bake the cake in preheated oven at 140 to 150°c forv12 to 15 minutes till the skewer comes out clean. hi
  7. Serve ur cake with chocolate sauce, icecream or mango puree the choice is yours..

My Tip:

Semolina cake cooks very fast so do not over bake it oterwise it will burn.
