Ingredients to make Moong dal pakode

  • Soaked moong dal 1 bowl
  • Soaked chana dal half bowl
  • Soaked rice 2 tbspn
  • jeera 1 tspn
  • Ajwain 1/2 tspn
  • baking soda....1 pinch
  • Kadhipatta 6-7 leaf
  • Corriender as per taste
  • green chillies 5-6
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying

How to make Moong dal pakode

  1. Soak moong dal, rice and chana dal for atleast 3 hrs. U can soak them together in one container.
  2. It will look like this when the ingredients are soaked nicely
  3. Now grinde it properly(not too smooth..little coarse)
  4. Now u can add all ingredients to the batter....chop green chillies, kadhipatta, and corriender finely and add to batter. Add pinch of baking soda....to make it spongy.....and mix properly
  5. Now heat the oil and start making pakoda......u can fry some green chillies also if you like to eat with pakoda

My Tip:

Add very little rice....or else the pakoda will become oily if you add more rice......rice is only for crispness.....
