This is a gujarati dessert which is best for winter.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat flour 1 cup
  2. Jaggery 1cup
  3. ghee 1/2 cup
  4. Milk 2-3tablespoon
  5. Sunth(dried ginger) powder 1 teaspoon
  6. Cardamom powder 1 teaspoon
  7. pistachio for garnish

Instructions

  1. On a heavy bottom pan add ghee and allow it to melt completely.
  2. After ghee melts add wheat flour and mix well
  3. Cook flour for 10-15 min on a very low flame.
  4. Cook until sweet fragrance of flour and ghee comes.
  5. After that remove it from the flame and take it out in one plate
  6. Then in another pan add finely chopped jaggery and cook it on a low flame for about 5-8 mins,this is the main point u can make sukhdi little hard by cooking jaggery for some more time,or if u want soft u can cook it for a less time or u can also add milk.
  7. Add cardamom and dried ginger powder.
  8. Then add wheat flour which we have cooked earlier.
  9. Mix well and cook for another five minute on a low flame.
  10. Then switch off the flame and take out the mixture on a greased plate.
  11. Spread evenly on a plate .
  12. Cut into pieces and garnish with pistachio.
