ABOUT Lau chingri RECIPE

Shrimps cooked with bottle gourd, mildly flavoured and a simple curry to be savoured with every day food.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Lauki 1 medium cut into small cubes soaked in water
  2. Shrimps 250 gms
  3. Kalonji
  4. Haldi
  5. Green chilies
  6. sugar
  7. Salt
  8. Dried red chillies

Instructions

  1. Wash shrimps well and add salt in little oil into it. Keep aside.
  2. In a pan heat oil add kalonji and red chillies ,when they splutter ,add shrimps and fry well .
  3. Add lauki and mix in salt sugar and turmeric.. cook till the water evaporates
  4. Add green chillies mix cover and cook till done
