ABOUT Mango Rabri RECIPE

A rich, creamy, fruity, tradtional Indian dessert with a soft pudding like texture. A heavenly combination of creamy rabri, fruity mango and aromatic saffron

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Full cream milk - 1 litre
  2. Sugar - 2 tbsp (as per taste)
  3. Mango puree - 1 cup, fresh and thick
  4. Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. Saffron - 5-6 strands (soaked in 2 tbsp of warm milk)
  6. Mangoes chopped 2 tbsp
  7. Finely chopped Almonds -4-5
  8. Silver Foil and cherry optional

Instructions

  1. *Boil the Milk in a heavy bottomed wide vessel
  2. *Once it thickens to Rabri consistency, add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron strands
  3. *Let the milk cool to Room temperature and then add mango puree and mix it. Set it aside for cooling.
  4. *Add Chopped mangoes and almond flakes while serving
  5. Top it off with a Cherry nd Silver foil
