Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For kofta
  2. Lauki 500 gms
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Haldi pinch of
  5. Fennel seeds (Saunf) 1/2 tsp
  6. Green chilly 1
  7. Coriander 2 tblspn
  8. Gram flour (Besan) 2 tblspn
  9. Oil for frying
  10. For gravy
  11. 4 tomatoes
  12. Cornflakes around 1/2 cup (1 mutthi)
  13. Green chilly 1
  14. ginger 1 tsp
  15. Curd half cup
  16. Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  17. Hing 2 pinch
  18. Malayi or cream 2 tblspn
  19. Saly to taste
  20. Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  21. Red chilly poeder 1 tsp
  22. coriander powder 1 tsp
  23. Oil 1 tblspn
  24. Kasuri methi 1 tsp
  25. Coriander 2 Tblspn for garnish

Instructions

  1. First mix all the ingredients for kofta and make small koftas and fry in hot oil. Keep aside.
  2. In mixer jar add tomatoes, green chilly, ginger and Cornflakes. Grind into a smooth paste.
  3. In a Kadhahi heat oil, temper Jeera and hing.
  4. Add ready tomato paste and add dry spices and cook till oil seprates.
  5. Till the time mix curd and malayi and whisk till smooth.
  6. Add curd mixture to the gravy and stir continuesly.
  7. Add 2 Cups or as desired water. And mix well.
  8. Add salt. Once gravy comes to boil add koftas and sprinkle kasuri methi.
  9. Cook for 5-7 mins on low flame.
  10. Garnish With hara dhaniya and serve.
