Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 cup-Chickpea flour
  2. 1 3/4 cup- Sugar
  3. 1 cup- Ghee
  4. 1 cup-Refined Oil
  5. 1/2 cup water

  1. Take oil and ghee together and heat it in a low flame.
  2. Keep ready a 2/3 inch container for pouring and spreading the mixture to cut into pieces.
  3. Sieve chickpea flour to make it lump-free and keep it ready.
  4. In a thick bottomed wok, pour water and add sugar and mix it till the sugar dissolves and check for 1 thread consistency.
  5. Once the syrup attains 1 thread consistency, add chickpea flour and hot oil little by little and mix. Likewise add all the flour and oil by mixing to avoid lump formation!
  6. Keep mixing the flour till oil starts leaving and does not absorb any more oil!
  7. Pour this mixture in the grease applied container.
  8. Spread it but do not press or dab or compress the batter.
  9. Make into pieces with the help of a knife, when still hot or else it cannot be made into pieces once it cools!
  10. Once it is slightly cool, completely cover the container with a news paper and by holding it on either side, turn over the container upside down!
  11. Pieces separate and can be stored in an airtight container after they completely cool! Most delicious sweet is ready within no time!
