ABOUT Spring onion masala RECIPE

Spicy vegetable made from highly beneficial spring onions which are a rich source of Vitamins,minerals and fiber.This is a very quick and easy recipe which can be made even for kid's tiffin.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Spring onions-2 cups(chopped)
  2. tomato-1
  3. Gingee garlic and green chilli paste-1 tsp
  4. Cumin Seeds-1 tsp
  5. Turmeric-1/4 tsp
  6. Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  7. Coriander Powder-1 tsp
  8. Cumin powder-1/2 tsp
  9. Garam masala-1/4 tsp
  10. Salt
  11. Coriander for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Take oil in a pan.Heat and add cumin seeds.
  2. Add ginger,garlic and chilli paste.
  3. Saute for 30 seconds and add finely chopped tomatoes.
  4. Cover and cook for a minute.
  5. When tomatoes become soft add all spices and salt.
  6. Mix and cook for a minute.
  7. Add chopped spring onions(whites and greens).
  8. Cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes and your vegetable is ready to be served with hot rotis or as a side dish with dal rice.
