Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 1L
  2. Broken Basmati rice or any pulav rice 50gms
  3. Sugar 3-4 spoon / sugar free (diabetic)
  4. Cardamom powder 1tsp
  5. Kesar half tsp
  6. Kaju 5-6 pieces
  7. Kismish 10-15 pieces
  8. Badam 5-6 pieces
  9. Bay leaves 2

Instructions

  1. Wash rice and soak in water for 20 mins.
  2. Boil milk let the solution boils till it's new volume is half its original volume. add bay leaves, cardamom powder and simmer the gas.
  3. Put the rice into the milk.
  4. Cook the rice on low flame for around 1hour occasionally string and add Kesar.
  5. When the rice is almost melted in the milk switch off the flame then add sugar/ or if there is any diabetic patience or you are health conscious then add sugarfree powder and stir.
  6. When it cools down Garnish with dry fruits and chill , serve it.
