This ice cream contains praline which gives crunch to it, make this delicious butterscotch ice cream at home with this easy recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Thick milk 1 cup
  2. Condensed milk 1 cup
  3. cornflour 1 tbsp
  4. Milk powder 2 tbsp
  5. honey 1 tbsp
  6. Butterscotch essence
  7. Praline
  8. Heavy cream 1 cup
  9. Cmc 1 tsp
  10. Gms 2 tsp


  1. Prepare thick milk by boiling milk until it is thick
  2. Now take 1/2 cup of cold milk and add cornflour,milk powder,CMC, GMs
  3. Mix until no lumps are left or may pass this mixture through a sieve
  4. Add this mixture in thick milk and boil till everything is cooked
  5. Now keep the flame low and add condensed milk
  6. Mix and then switch off the flame
  7. Add honey
  8. Cool the. Milk and put in freezer
  9. Prepare praline take 1/2 cup sugar and put in pan and slow the heat
  10. The sugar starts caramelizing
  11. At this point add chopped nuts mix and then quickly set this in greased. Plate
  12. After half setting of ice cream add cream and essence to it beat it and then keep in freezer to set
  13. After 3 hrs take out ice cream from freezer beat it and add tit bits of praline fold it and set in freezer
  14. Soft and crunchy butterscotch icecream is ready
