ABOUT Corn Bharta RECIPE

A different twist to the regular baingan ka bharta, with the indulgence of the luscious corns, make this delicious dish at home with this easy recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Brinjals - 1/2 kg
  2. Chopped onion - 1/2 kg
  3. Chopped tomatoes - 2
  4. Chopped green chilies - 2
  5. American corn kernels - 1 cup
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Red chili powder - 1/4 tsp
  8. Oil - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Roast the brinjals. Peel, wash and mash the roasted brinjals.
  2. Add the chopped onions in hot oil and fry the onions.
  3. Chop green chilies and tomatoes and and add them to the sauteeing onions.
  4. Add in American corn.
  5. Add the mashed brinjals and cook until the oil separates.
  6. Add salt and red chilli powder , mix them.
  7. Garnish with green coriander leaves and remove it from the flame.
  8. Serve it with tandoori roti.
